 The New England Council hosts an in-person, innovation-focused panel looking at the Blue Economy on September 18th. The program will feature a keynote from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Administrator Richard Spinrad, Ph.D., and a panel of experts who will address "innovations in the sector and how federal policymakers and the Administration can support continued Blue Economy innovation in the region."

The panel will be moderated by Doug Robbins, Vice President, Engineering and Prototyping - MITRE Labs, from Bedford-based MITRE Corporation, as well as John Mandelman, Ph.D., Vice President and Chief Scientist, New England Aquarium; Dr. Richard “Rick” Murray, Deputy Director and VP for Science at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution; and other leading experts from the region.
